Is there any substitute drug for Glycomet [Metformin]

I am a type 2 diabatic.with150 FB and 192pp. When I use Glycomet I am suffering from constipation and indigestion with a heavyness in the stomach.I will be very thankful if anybody can suggest an alternate medicine for Glycomet ravindranath.

Metaformin is time tested,and trusted drug for control of diabetis. I am told apart from controlling diabetis is also used for some other ailments. It is said it kills ur appetite for food.

Some people advise for herba/ayurveda/homiapathy Kindly speak to a person who is using these herba/ayurveda/homiapathy medicines for long time. don't over rule the ur physician advise, unless u r 100 % sure of alternative medcines.
