I am a type 2 diabetic and I was on oral drugs since last 12 years and recently I had dengue fever and after the fever my sugar level had gone more than 490 and doctor advised me to take insulin. Can I come back to tablets once my sugar level comes to normal ?

Thanks but insulin is the only and last source to control the sugar level in the blood where as the oral drugs extract insulin from our pancreas so naturally we are flogging our pancreas and at one point of time it can not secreate anymore insulin.
