What to do ?

I am type-2 diabetes and i am also taking medicine for the last 10 years. I m feeling pain in my right leg while walking a few steps and the pain doesn't permit me to walk further. this has restricted my movement and made over weight. I know nothing about diabetic foot or muscle weakness or tendon weakness. will somebody suggest if over i can over come this handicap and how ?

You have got diabetic neuropathy. You have to lower blood sugar in order to prevent diabetic neuropathy. The European Federation of Neurological Societies recommends pregabalin as a first line agent for the treatment of pain associated with diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia, and central neuropathic pain.

Check your FBS and PPBS regularly and keep a record of the same.
