What type of diabetes have you been diagnosed with?

I have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I am soon starting on an insulin pump, slightly worried about it so any advice from someone who has been through this would be great. Has anyone used a pump?

I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at the age of 53 on 1990. I take Human Mixtard 30/70 insulin injections (12 units in the morning and 10 units in the evening).
