Thank you for your post, had a look at the list of items, there is only one item, 2, Yogurt (Greek) I use once in a while!

45-60g of carbs per meal, . . . as a guide ? Based only 3 meals a day, . . . - or, 3 meals + 2 snacks . . . ??! Do the keto-type approaches limit total daily carbs to ~30-50g per day ? ? ❓

. . . other thing which is too often simply not considered is what insulin levels have become to keep the glucose levels were they are ! Could be t🍒 high, . . . while blood glucose remains in a seemingly acceptable range ! In this case, . . . T2D ( - as opposed to T2DM !) has already begun . . .

Sid_Arthur ,

The amount of carbs. depends on the person and also what the doctor recommends so the patient doesn't eat too little or too many carbs. for each meal and/or snack. This also helps keep from going too low or high throughout the day. :-)

. . . have never known a Dr to advise on the right amount of carbs ! Seems none ( - or too few !) know much about this ! One - being an exception - was very anti everything with added sugar. The others seem to be stuck on calorie restriction & activity - the rather worn-out record of 'move more, eat less/better' . . . !

Wonder if the late Syd P. had the same type of questionable advice, . . . or, indeed ever needed it ;) Troublesome times, . . . but at least there's been no murder yet, as in 'The Heat of the Night !'

AtB,

Sid :)
