Sometime back , I was proud about our E-commerce door delivery services. .

But under lockdown conditions,

they are not able to manage too many orders...

The reason is their system is not able to cope up with too many orders all of a sudden..

Now people have to go to the super market ....

The problem is supply and demand, when web sites were set up the system did not allow for any sudden surge, telephone system, power system and gas all had their problems. To control travelling they cut the number of train, the problem is the trains are crowded and this is another health issue. What ever said China controlled it very well.

Now it is click and collect. when I was in planning I had difficulties to get money to allow for sudden demand!!!

Many Internet system are going to face issues on demand.

Well this is 21st Century.

For shoppers who are 55+ years old, they are allowed to be at a store for 1 hour (6-7 am).

In UK, early shopping is only two days a week at some shops from 8 - 9 AM. I went shopping this morning, there is black take on the floor to keep the distance, security is in the shop to make sure we do that and also in one shop there is security at the door to allow people in at time intervals. Not all the shops have every item.

We are managing.

It’s close to the same way out here with shopping. We have to order food and other things to be sent to the house. We have ordered items for the upcoming Passover Seder and week. It took 3 days for the order to be delivered to me (yesterday afternoon).

Stay safe and in touch!😀👍

But be careful what you touch

That’s right!😀👍 Wash your hands if you touch anything before and after doing anything so you don’t get sick.😀👍

We are wearing a pair of washing up gloves when out. When we come home, we wash the gloves on our hands then remove them to wash our hands,

That’s a great idea.😀👍

Stay at home is boring but no alternative at this age 67. Bought a exercise cycle and spend some time with it in Morning & Evening

I watch old movies and also watch old movie songs of 70s and 80s in U-tube.

Good Luck.

Let us hope and pray for good days to return.

Good luck to all.

Stay indoors, come what may to save us and others around.

That will be our role to play and help.

I listen to old Tamil songs, 1950 to 1965. Watch a lot of video clips on temples, local cooking and Asian sea fishing.

Good to know that Sandy.

I am a big fan of Kannadaasan and MSV, TMS and PSusheela.

I listen to 1960s and 70s songs.

Of course I like Ilayaraja also.

I watch the comedy clips of yesteryears of all Tamil comedians.

Nagesh, Thangavelu, Suruli, VKR, upto Vivek and Vadivelu.

You may try them for some good time pass and peace.

Good Luck Sandy.

Hello,

Have a look at this video clip, many times people asked about fasting, when you get to 20 minutes, fasting is explained.

We are encouraged to go out for an hours exercise each day. Most places have some quite areas where you can walk. We are fortunate to live on the South Coast and at 85 we need to need to keep going even with mobility problems.

Not so well apparently. It is almost complete lockdown in our society of about 400 residents because of one suspected case not positive yet. Can’t go to work, gym or park. Hard to find vegetables or fruits. Also exercises have stopped. Need suggestions on how to keep going inside home? Hopefully things will improve in few weeks.

those of you who are taking ace inhibitors like losartan, please stop this till we get over the corona virus issue since it increases the risk of infection.
