Physician suggested me to go for Continuous sugar monitoring by Sensor device which will take the sugar level readings every 15 minutes for 14 days. Please guide me whether this useful anyway and controls the sugar level bymedication basing on report obtained.

Hi Kalyadi ,
A CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) system reads your blood sugars through a sensor inserted either on your arm or stomach (both under the skin). The sensor can read the numbers and transfers it to a receiver/wand. Then, from the wand/reciver, it can go to your phone and other followers that you choose to see what your blood sugars are by giving them alerts and other information. There are different types of CGMs. I have used (and still do) a CGM. I'm type 1 and can drop really fast when the blood sugars go low. I have my CGM set at 80 mg/dl to alarm before I go below 80 so I can do something before I need emergency help. Is it okay for me to send you a private message?
