Very interesting reading, thanks for posting rvmasalvad. I never know that consuming high sugar foods can lead to hypertension. Another common issue is for people who take pain killer regularly/daily to control their ongoing pain. They may require some test of their kidneys at one point.

High carb -> high insulin -> hypertension (all sorts of metabolic problems)

Thanks shrisamath for pointing out this interesting fact. This is crucial for diabetics to limit carb intake not only for good BSL control but also for maintaining a healthy BP.
