Hi and welcome to the group, RAJKG . Everyone here is very nice, friendly and very helpful. We will try to assist with anything you need to the best of our abilities.
As for your question about a diet.... Did you discuss the options for a new diet before deciding to try to start a new one? If you hadn't had a chance to talk to the doctor about it, yet, please call the doctor to set up an appointment and to come in and meet with the doctor to be on the safe side of things. Not all diets/exercise routines work for everyone. They are all different-- just like people.

Hello RAJKG,
Your body weight is on the higher side. It would be good to lose some body weight(6kg). A low carbohydrate diet would be a suitable option to control your blood sugar and reduce the body weight also. Please provide further information about your conditions if you need assistance with this type of diet:
Fasting BS
2 Hr PPBS
Vegetarian or Non-vegetarian?
110/160 with medicine
Consider a ketogenic diet. It will reduce your post-meal blood sugar immediately and lower your HbA1c. It should be possible for you to reduce the medicine dose with time. You may come off medication depending on your progress. Of course , that has to be done in consultation with your Doctor. Recently I posted my results on ketogenic diet which is Non-veg. you can have a look at that and see if it fits in your lifestyle. Below is the link:

It should be possible to add more carbohydrate in the above meal as per individual requirements.
Try to loose 10% body weight
Remember eating in moderation is key in maintaining sugar level
Excercise is compulsory
Cycling is best not walking
