Fasting blood sugar should be less than 100 mg/dL.

Postprandial blood sugar (2 hours after taking food) should be less than 140 mg/dL.

Eat less food more times in a day.

Walk for 15 minutes after every meal.

Do not consume food after sunset. (Your body needs less energy during sleep).

Check your blood sugar (FBS or PPBS) daily.

Learn more about diabetes and it's complications.

Causes of high uric acid levels (hyperuricemia) can be primary (increased uric acid levels due to purine), and secondary (high uric acid levels due to another disease or condition). Sometimes, the body produces more uric acid than it is able to excrete.

Both lifestyle changes and medications can decrease uric acid levels. Dietary and lifestyle choices that are effective include reducing intake of purine-rich foods of animal origin such as meat and seafood, alcohol, and fructose (especially high fructose corn syrup).

Normal values of uric acid in the blood range between 3.5 to 7.2 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL).

Normal level of triglyceride is less than 150 mg/dL.

Triglyceride levels are also reduced by moderate exercise and by consuming omega-3 fatty acids from algae, fish, flax seed oil, and other sources.
