Insugen-r 40iu/ml injection is a short-acting insulin, starts working within 10-20 minutes after injection. It works similar to insulin produced by the body. Insulin facilitates reuptake of sugar in muscle and fat cells and also suppresses the production of sugar in the liver. Effective duration: 4 to 6 hours.

Self monitoring of your blood glucose level is essential to avoid diabetic complications. You should be cautious against hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
Undergo HbA1c test once in every three months.
