Is it true that mosquitos bite less a diabetic person than non diabetic ?
No idea
A mosquito has a variety of ways of finding its prey, including chemical, visual, and heat sensors. Both plant materials and blood are useful sources of energy in the form of sugars, and blood also supplies more concentrated nutrients, such as lipids, but the most important function of blood meals is to obtain proteins as materials for egg production.
The feeding preferences of mosquitoes include those with type O blood, heavy breathers, those with a lot of skin bacteria, people with a lot of body heat, and the pregnant.
Diabetic patients have poor peripheral blood circulation. Hence their feet may remain cold and may be less attractive to mosquitoes. (Not sure).
A Diabetic is like a non-Diabetic. Some people are more prone to getting mosquito bites while others have a lucky chance of not getting bitten. I personally have been bitten by some mosquitos here and there, but it depended on the temperature at the time.
Odour sure has some attraction to mosquitoes. My sister uses regularly Neem soaps and mosquitoes don't bite her.
My experience: I am a type 2 diabetic. My wife is not. My blood type B+ and my wife's O+ . When we sit side by side, mosquitos bite me more leaving my wife. I don't understand why. May please explain anybody knowing the reason. Thanks.
No it is false, a person who is diabetic, mosquitos bites more than non diabetic
