Hi Sonu- ,

Some testing monitors for blood sugars aren't always accurate. Please call your doctor's office and request an appointment for the upcoming week to discuss which monitor is best for you. Also, see if they can do a blood test to see what your blood sugar is at that moment. Please let us know what you find out.

please do not mislead in this forum.

protein does not convert into glucose.

all carbs are not sugars, only those easily digested to release sugar like rice, maida

there are many carbs, such as cellulose and many vegetable origin polysacharides, difficult to breakdown easily into glucose.

these taken in the form of whole grains as part of your diet, such as dhalia in moderation will not give sharp spikes in blood glucose, unlike maida.

agree on your comment on natural fat and protein.

Postprandial blood sugar above 200 mg/dL for more than 2 or 3 occasions means that you have type 2 diabetes.

Healthy diet, regular physical activity, maintaining a normal body weight and avoiding tobacco use are ways to prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes.
