I was recently diagnosed with type 2,with fasting 139 and pp of 240.I have since lost around 7kgs and on strict diet. My numbers now are 100-110 fasting and 120 pp. No allopathic meds. My question is sometimes I crave for something sweet. I have seen dark chocolate that have no added sugar, one has stevia other doesn't, it's on Amazon as well.Has anyone tried them? Are they harmless? I would probably have a bite after meal to stop craving.

Shailajaa; great BSL control, well done! I am not sure which brand of chocolate you've mentioned. I do take occasionally LINDT 90% dark chocolate which contains a bit of sugar. Serving size: 20 gr containing 2.5 gr carbs, 1.3 gr is sugar. I think check its carbs content and eat small portion occasionally should be fine.
My view.We are stuck with this disorder.Better to kick the craving for sweet stuff at the earliest.Presently, your numbers are optimum. Why play with them.About snacks without added sugar, they are loaded with carbohydrates. So,indirectly you are taking a risk.
