Hey but some thing interesting...

Well bade bhaiya.

Bs is not a static entity. It fluctuates every minute. Our readings gives a general idea about our bs control. You wake up in the morning while your body is in relax mode. You start moving and put the machinery / body working. Would need fuel. So bs is gonna rise. Don't worry as long as around 100 i.e. not beyond 140. Yes. Let's wait for what lab has to say. We should not be very obsessed with readings if in the normal range and below 140

Yes suramo lab confirmed FBS as 106.

Hba1c 5.9.

Normal thyroid,HDL 57

Just Got reports on telephone... as soon as I get my reports..I will post them here..

also will mail them to you.

10 High-Protein Vegetables You Should Start Eating Today

If five out of this list are available in India, this should be enough to include with your regular diet. Most importantly is that they are affordable and safe to consume regularly. I could buy all of these from supermarkets or health food stores but some of them are expensive eg chlorella, spirulina. Besides, consuming protein in excessive amounts is not recommended.

True. Costly and not available but for those who want to be strictly vegetarian. Otherwise eggs are good option.

These eggs are from our home raised hens who were born and hatched from our incubator. They are free from antibiotics, drugs and hormones. Their feedings are most food scraps, whole wheat and green grasses plus whatever edible stuffs they eat from the ground. In return, these besutiful hens provide us with excellent eggs.

Kadaknath is a beautiful black Indian chicken but it's not available here. We have Black Australorp that looks similar but slightly bigger.

cure profile image
cureAdministrator in reply toLuckysugar

yeah...it is lot bigger..

Plus 'Kadaknath' looks are very typical...you can make out that this is something different and not normal hen..

Tribal from 'jabhua' district consider them sacred 'Murga'

But kadaknath got some medicinal values..

flesh organ meat and even eggs are blackish..

very tasty meat.. But expensive in Pune :(

Kadaknath is quite unique. Is it a common breed in India? Expensive? We have new chicks who are Chinese Silkie which they also have black flesh but not their eggs. However, we raise chooks for eggs only.

cureAdministrator in reply toLuckysugar

nah not common...it is on verge of extiction...but now there are many breeders who are breeding them..

Raw Pumpkin seeds-deshalled are available in masjid bunder dry fruit stores @ 1200/- per kg. I am regularly using it. 30 gms per day. Only point is that this is high in omega-6 unlike flax seed which are high in omega-3.

Can any one please guide on tests to be done so that we can have readings of Omega-3 fatty acids and Omega-6 fatty acids in our body?

Well the it is not just the quantity of the protein but its biological value that is important. Most of the plant proteins are deficient in the essential amino acids and hence of lower biological value. Egg albumen has been ascribed the biological value of 100 an arbitrary number to indicate that it is the best quality protein. For example if you take gelatin it is almost 100% protein but its biological value is quite low because it is deficient in many of the essential amino acids. However, this can be overcome by taking a mixture of these proteins- say egg with beans and things like that.
