A diabetic shouldn't eat foods with high GI.why can't the process slow by drinking water along such food.I am new

1 spoon of sugar in one glass of water is still the same in 1 litre of water.

eventually what ever you eat will end up your belly, be it more water or no water

but the rise in spike will be slow so as work load of the beta cell and

they can handle easily. beta cells die due to overwork.for ex---10 workers (beta cells) carrying brisks (sugar) from one place to another place take 1hr

and 10 worker carrying brisk to same place take 2 hrs.work and

no of workers are same

If we are thinking of GI,we should also consider the glycemic load.Consuming water does not help.The liver has to still process the glucose load.
