Sugar levels need to be brought down between 100 and 140 with medication . You can try LCHF diet along with your fitness regimen & medicines. it is also very important to keep monitoring your sugar levels frequently i.e. fasting, pp and also randomly , hence having a glucometer at home is a must.Medicines can be reduced/ dropped once you have successfully controlled the sugar levels to non diabetic levels .

First get your baseline investigations done.
The only solution to reverse D is diet. No medicine - be it ayu or allo or homeo or otherwise in the whole universe can help you if your diet is "bad " i.e high carb
Just try for a month with LCHF diet.Other parameters remaind dame
