Acucheck is one of the popular brands, but any home monitoring is useful only for identification of trends in sugar levels.Readings taken over a period will help the doctor to fix the dosage and what time of the day to take medicines.Generally, at 3 to 4 day intervals you take fbs, ppbs.pre lunch, pre dinner readings on a rotation basis.
