I have been told that there is a possible problem with the newest update for the IPhone/IPad and the Word app. If you use either IPhone and/or IPad, you will have issues with the Word app after you have done the update to 10.4.17. This will disable all new and edit functions. It's best not to install the update. To also be able to keep your files and documents so you can still edit and create, you have to pay a minimum of $4.99! I'm not sure if this is effecting Android phones, but the update doesn't have issues with the google apps for writing.
