Lots and lots of ways! Increase water intake, eat lots of green veggies, some protein, tiny carbs. Make sure you are not vit D or iron deficient. Exercise 15 to 20 min after each big meal. No soda...ever...

Good! I've gone from almost 400 to under 200...I still have a ways to go but no MEDs for me either. Walking is magic. Lol

Mostly fresh veggies (cooked geeens) and protein. A little carb 10g a meal or snack, except dinner is 35g. 160 after meals...just need to go a little lower. 140 feels best for me. I figet after meals also. Thighs and arms up and down 15-20min. I also take glucose balance vitamins. I think that I was severely vit d deficiency.

Try to get exposed to sun light for 1 to 2 hours daily in the morning and see whether the sugar levels get reduced . I strongly suspect V ' D'' DEFICIENCY is responsible for the high sugar readings in some people. Receptors are different in different people

I agree. I wonder if that is the reason for everyone having 'diabetes' is actually vit d deficiency. Coupled with low iron.

even zinc deficiency

Oh? I'll research that one also. I found out that without the right levels of iron and b12 your pancreas refuses to work! Did the doc tell me that...no. Did he test me for that...no. Did he YELL at me for being black and stupid enough to think that diet and exercise alone will get my numbers down without MEDs...yes. I went from almost 400 to 140 in about a months time!

in reply to Naturalisbest
