Hello Enkamus and welcome to Diabetes India forum!
Exercise is certainly an important part of a healthy life style and contributes to improving your blood sugar values. However depending on whether you have diabetes type 1 or 2 the effects of exercise are different.
For type 2 exercise is the best and most advisable method of decreasing insulin resistance and can hardly not be recommended even though depending on your initial condition your physician may advise you a limited set of exercises.
Both for type 1 and type 2 exercise has the risk of causing a hypoglycaemia even though this is mostly an issue for type 1 patients. In order to avoid this it is very important to adjust insulin and carbs consumption to the effort done.
Do not hesitate to reply if you have any doubt or question.

My dear friend Exercise can at the best help reduce bs levels depending on the intensity of exercise done. It doesn't reverse IR. Only diet management with or without exercise can reverse ir. Well exercise with IDM is a good solution to reduce ir. Any kind of intense exercise with continued high carb diet will not help.

Welcome back. How was the trip ?
Well. This simple fact that diet is important is not accepted by many.
Why cut the trip short?
