Arroz con leche

Just click on the recipe! In the above link

See how the sugar based dessert is recommended by ADA

See the logo of ADA and a pharma company in the bottom

And it's claimed as a diabetic friendly dessert..?

Had this pathetic organization ever heard of stevia. Or is it the stevia companies and not donating..?

Need I say anymore..?

All mainstream org themselves recommend such diet

We have to make these big so called "world bodies" change the recommendation

3 recipes at least calling for 2 TABLESPOONS of sugar. Still, cover that with the old Metformin eh?

I'd like to say unbelievable, but it's not!

in reply to MikePollard

Not metformin mike

But insulins and or Dpp4 and now the milch cow called sglt2 inhibitors with so called cardiovascular benefits

I have posted on their FB page as to why they are not recommending stevia in place of sugar, is it that they are not paid by stevia manufacturers...?

My contention is they could have very well recommended these alternatives like stevia or even chemical junk like aspartame ot sucralose. At least they will not spike the sugar levels

Are these org so cash strapped that they have no staff to do some research

When such recommendation are posted it's clear that they are INFLUENCED by vested interests

And these are called as respected world bodies.

They may have started off for the well being of diabetics.. but now have become more of a money minting orgs with full right to look after the interests of Sponsors but fully neglecting the patients interests

Sad state of affair

Still there
