Out of three pillars of diabetes management diet, excercise and drugs, diet is supposed to be the most important one. Any reason ?

Why diet management is vital for diabetes control ?
Sugar, whether sucrose or carbohydrate flashing over to glucose will kill you in a slow agonising fashion if you are diabetic.
Never mind type 2, try being type 1 in the absence of endogenous insulin!
If untreated diabetes might cause several complications but never a slow agonising death. In my experience I have seen many diabetics leading a normal life without any treatment or diet restrictions.

D erodes your body and health from inside. Those who live without meds and diet control are sitting on a volcano. Their body looks normal externally but they have a weak body. There is lots of damage to their bodies. They realize when they encounter a complication. Believe me then their lives become the worst and pitiable. I have seen many with paralysis, dialysis gangrene etc. Ever go to a diabetic ward and you will find many such patients repenting for their carelessness.
Although not related to D but chronic drunkards also die pitifully. They die in pieces. Careless D too die in pieces.
May god bless them
Diet is the input to our body.
Excercise can b the catalyst in process of intaking d the food and insulin by the body itself.
Drugs helps us in fighting and getting the output for the best test results.
