Metformin Side effects on Kidney

I have been detected with Microalbumin 6 and creatinine 2 with ratio of 3 recently.Will taking metformin 1000 twice a day will be having side effect on kidney or can i control my blood sugar with only Insulin Novamix 30.70 20 units twice a day

going for insulin is better than metformin , though it is said to be lesser harmful than other diabetec medications

Dear sunbon

When sr creatinine goes beyond 1.3, one has to stop taking metformin and switch over to other drugs.Consult your diabetologist.

metformin is having side effects on kidney and urinal bladder and bloating stomach.so insulin is better for diabetes.
