Amaryl P is banned in India.
As is a combination drug, they say can't verify the exact amt of each drug that goes into making the combination.
No there is a supreme Court stay on the ban order. Alternatively Ozomet PG2 is same combination and available at just Rs 20 for 10 tabs.
docter have given this medicine means no its not banned
The reason to ban the combination drugs is the quantity of the respective medicine contained in the drug may not be same for everyone, take my example I take 1000mg metformin and 2mg of glymepride so this combination medicine will not be suitable to me thus I take them seperately.
