Why do diabetic has a craving for sweet things ?

A diabetic always has a desire to eat sweet things. Why it is so ? Any insight ?

Because they think that sweet has gone from their life(according to Louise Hay)  and they want to fill up this sweetness from things which are sweet in taste

It is not true. Right from my childhood I did not have liking for any sweets. Still I became diabetic.

Carbs stimulate the release of brain serotonin, the happy, feel good hormone. Who doesn't want to be happy?  That's how Nature has wired us, so who's to blame?  What is interesting is that research has found that if hemp oil + products are ingested they will compete for those receptors that are triggered by carbs.  So taking hemp oil + products is one way of curing DM.  Just think: our brain actually has receptors for the active agents in hemp oil. India, I read, used to be a top producer along with a few Asian countries.
