Coconut is a superfood. If your doctor says it is harmful, change your doctor - they are not the oracle!

Sure it is!

The doctor who says it bad would recommend you to be on ‘starch spread’ for you to take carbohydrates all the time to quench your never ceasing hunger while on his drags.

I was following this for over a decade and now after reducing carbs intake to around 20% and adding foods containing fat/ protein- specially the coconut oil which is freely available in my vicinity I am doing fine- my readings have gone back to near non diabetic level prompting me to reduce the dosage.

Coconut are low in carbohydrates and high in good fatty acids. Good for diabetics.

Dr's have been trained to fear fats And load patients with high carb and low fat which proves to be detrimental in long run

We humans need a fair share of good fats like butter, ghee and good stuff like coconut.

Diabetics need even more of these

Coconut and coconut oil are among the best foods to lower hyperinsulinemia and thus insulin resistance. Most doctors are still in the traditional concept of low fat. It should be noted that after 40 years of low fat diet, 65% of US population are obese and 50% are either diabetic or pre-diabetic. High fat low carb diet is ideal to prevent metabolic diseases like obesity, diabetes T2, CVD, cancer and stroke.
