Anything that is mainly a source of sugar is bad for diabetics (ok in very small amounts probably). So whether it is coconut sugar, cane sugar, jaggery, syrup, honey (even jamun honey) don't eat.
I have not heard about black palm jaggery, but I seriously doubt if any jaggery has more than 50% proteins. Do your own research before eating it.
