This looks like Jawun it is very healthy even if that has carbs
That is good carb
You can make rotors mixed with besan and onions that will make Tories moist easy to bite into
Thank you for confirming the name Jawun.
I have been using this from 1985 in my rotis
What I call masala roti
Jawun. 50%
Besan. 20%
Onion Spring onionGarlic
Green chilli salt red chili powder
Onions make it moist
I am Diabitic from 1978
Limited carbs and lot of salad and sprouted beans
This is long wheat.
As many others have confirmed, the picture is of Long Wheat. Congratulations. My heart felt thanks to all those who have come up to help the fellow diabetic.
Thanks Mr. George. I have started LWMDR from 27-Dec-15..and did a sugar test that day itself and below are my results:
FBS=90
PPBS = 87 (After taking Long wheat in breakfast)
as you can see results look amazing but I am afraid that BS level may go very low looking at these results.
Please guide me as to how to deal with this concern of low BS level.
Thanks,
Sourabh
Hi Sourabh,
Are you diabetic ? Since what time ?
Thanks
Dinkar
Hi Dinkar,
I did a hb1ac in June 2015 and result was 8. I have posted my subsequent results as well in a separate post. In case you are interested to see then I can share the link.
Thanks,
Sourabh
Thanks Sourabh for the quick response. Just wanted to clarify my doubt. Is LWMDR increases Insulin Production ?
Please let me know
Thanks
Dinkar
This question is 2 days old. Nobody has responded still. Hence, though the question is not to me, would like to respond.
When my BS was decreasing to normal values during LWMDR me too was thinking that LWMD was increasing Insulin production. But recent test results of other patients as well as reading some articles made me think that it is some other factor like Insulin resistance (IR) that is involved. As no patient is cooperating with me by providing test results I suggest, I am unable to confirm.
Dear Sir,
Thanks for the response. I was just looking for what is the science behind this LWMDR. When I had visited to my doctor couple months back I got to know from him reason for diabetic is either there is no enough insulin production in the body or insulin produced may not work as expected. 90% of chances are the lack of insulin production in case of diabetic so insulin needs to be provided externally whatever needed. Overall I see in the forum people have got good results through LWMDR but people are unable to confirm whether this diet increases Insulin production
Thanks again for providing details about IR
Dinkar
Hey,
That's pretty fast improvement.
Congratulations.
Stay blessed and stay healthy...
If you are not taking other diabetic drugs, your BS level will not go dangerously low due to LWMDR.
Thanks Mr. George. Please find the latest BS results below-
FBS-97
PPBS-100 (After taking LW in breakfast)
Currently I am not taking any drug.
Thanks,
Sourabh
Good. Keep it up. All the best.
