The recent earthquake in Nepal and other parts of India, has forced me to think about blood sugar control of diabetics. Is there any effect due to prolonged stress on blood sugar control ? Any thoughts ?

What I have understood are:

1. prolonged use of Pancreas-whipping medicines worsens the condition of already impaired Pancreas

2. prolonged use of external Insulin increase Insulin-resistance & increase the residual Insulin in the blood.

HENCE I FEEL THAT YOUR THOUGHT IS VERY MUCH RELEVANT.
