Blue pole Magnetic oil will be helpful in reducing diabetic itching.

Many times if body,s swelling decreases, itching starts.Such type of itching can be very well managed by blue side (south pole) magnets.

Please use mild soap such as glycerine base PEARS Transparent Soap which will clean your sweat leaving skin oily. After bath, do not rub skin which will rash the skin. Wipe skin slowly with cotton towel. Some People use Borolene antiseptic cream as barrier cream. If itching is more and uncontrollable take, antihistamine tablet ceterizine 10 mg for 3 days before going to bed. Sure you will get relief. Eat milk products Butter/Ghee in little quantity during winter season.

Ma'am, check your toilet soap. You must have changed the brand you used before. Try shifting back. You can apply any cooking oil or plain vaseline in moderation to moisturise the affected area to keep the itch away. Being diabetic, it is important that you DONOT develop wounds on the affected area. It is better to visit yr GP or skin specialist to avoid complications later. Prevention is always better ...

Itchy skin may have several causes. It can often be treated by using moisturizing or steroid cream, medication be sometime needed.

SKIN INFECTION- The higher the level of glucose in the blood, the more likely a person is to have skin infections. Yeast infections appears on moist areas of the body, such as mouth, under the arms, under the breasts,or on the sides of groin.Bacterial infections can cause skin changes and include impetigo, abscesses, cellulite, and several others.Fungal infections may appear around the groin or between the toes,on the palm of hands or under fingure nails. Fungel infections are not more common in peoples woth diabetes. The two primary ways to to stop skin infections are tight control and limiting moisture build up in skin folds.

HOW CAN I KEEP MY SKIN HEALTHY? .You can keep your skin healthy by following these tips,

Cleaning- Use a mild soap that will not rub your skin of natural oils or cause irritation. Some deodorant soaps or those with heavy fragrances can be harsh to skin.Try a mild cleaning lotion or bar such as Aveeno,Eucerin,or Basis.

Use warm(not hot) water and limit your use of soaps or cleansers to part of your body that sweat.Always rins off soaps or cleansers completely.

Spend only 5-10 minutes in water.Soaking in a bath or shower can cause skin to dry.

Pat skin dry with a soft towel.Avoid rubbing Dry between all skin folds such as armpits and under breasts.Moisture warmth and darkness in these body areas, along with high blood sugars, can lead to yeast and bacterial infections.

MOISTURIZING- Drink at least eight glasses of water or sugar free fluids a day to give your body necessary fluid.

Apply moisturizing lotion to your skin after bathing, while skin is damp.Do not use cream in skin folds such as between toes and under breasts.

Avoid lotions or creams that contains dyes, additives, fragrance, and perfume.

PROTECTING SKIN FROM SUN AND WIND

Use a sunscreen lotion with an SPF(SUN PROTECTION FACTOR)OF 15 before going out doors.

Limit time in the sun to avoid sunburn and skin dryness.,a sun burn can affect blood sugars and dsirupt your control

Wear layered clothing to protect you from the sun, cold weather, and wind.

Protect your skin from injury.

Wash minor breaks in the skin with antibacterial soap and water

Cover with a non stick sterile pad.

Hold in place with gauge bandage and paper tape.

Do not use Betadene,Iodine,or products containing alcohol or peroxide,as these can be too strong for skin.

Do not use cloth or adhesive tape or plasters directly on the skin. Skin can be damaged when these are removed.

Do not disturb a blister,it is natural sterile protective cover. When it breaks open, care for it as you would as any break in the skin.

Check the injured area every day to be sure you are healing.

CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF YOU NOTICE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING

Very dry,itchy,cracked skin.

Skin that is red, swollen, feels warms or hot,has pus or bad smelling drainage.

A cut or scratch that does not heal.

You test your Cretin level. Apply oil regularly. This most probably due to dry skin.

This is because peripheral neuro problem. Generally on our legs there will be a membrane which will protect the skin and when the membraned between the skin and flesh disappears, during that time you will feel the itching sensation or burning sensation in your feet.

Hope your problem will also be similar. I suggest to consult a doctor before you loose the sense of the skin.

I also have such problem during winter. I apply coconut oil

before bath for 15 -30 minutes.

I than wash it off with warm water- no use of soap.

You can also use a cream Moisturex.

If this does not help, go to a doctor.
