Hai I am diabetic Legs severe itching below Knees any remedy

Hia I am diabetic for last 10 years. fbs 117,ppbs 148 Hba1c 6.8.

I am suffering from severe itching below knees leading to scratches with blood and hard black patches . any remedy suggestion i am applying coconut oil to get subsidise

tq. very much for your prompt reply sir. skin is normal only itchy feeling and it is long standing problem. my general md doctor who treats me for diabetics,my homeo docotor told to apply coconut oil may be to avoid dry skin effect but i am not getting any permannet solution. i.e why i put my problem here. any helath supplements like ALA any other thing to cure. some where i read ALA may give relief for skin also in addition some knee pains,nerve pains etc.

Yeast infection and dry skin may be the cause. But itching below knee occurs mostly with circulatory problems. Get throughly examined. If black hard patches behind knee , may be acanthosis nigricans.

When you feel to scratch immediately wash the leg and dry it

Then apply coconut oil and use boric powder. Slowly the problem will subside. I use to do the same thing
