Legumes contain higher quantity of fibre than grains. So breaking down of legumes while digestion is slower compared to grains. So the net effect on BS rise is less. Dals will have comparatively less effect as the skin is removed. Sprouting converts some part of carbs to proteins and some to other nutrients. What you call usali we call it usal. It is part of my daily meals. If you are consuming sprouts (cooked) then it is better alternative to grains. Compared to same amount of grains it has less carbs and high fibre.
It is better to have triglycerides <100. But more than that TG/HDL ratio is important. <3 is better and <2 is best.
Metformin is most safe drug in diabetes. Glipizide stimulates beta cells in pancreas to secret more insulin whether it is needed or not.
A very accurate and scientific explanation. Sprouts are always better as several nutrients are added by thr process of germination. For example moong does not contain all essential amino acids, but when sprouted a couple of essential amino acids are added to make it a complete protein.
