The normal blood sugars value is 8- to 120 or say 130. there also a difference of 50 is there. I am just wondering where is this consistent 50 differnce of blood sugar is coming and how to address this particular value in terms of calories only? or any physiological issue? or any emotional isssue?.
I am sure it is only a SUGAR BAND PROBLEM. I REQUEST MY FRIENDS TO focus on this. like there has to a specific issue which is causing a specific result.
and i think this may be the case in other diabeteics also even if thier values are higher than mine..that a consistent 50 balance may occur.to downstep the ban ., yes lhcf is being used. and i am largely satisfied with my results.(earlier they used to be 265 pp and 199f.s. )so in steps of 50 we may have to reduce keeping intake of protein moderate. and fat higher.(Earlier i did not take potein as a must.only dal and sometimes i or 2 eggs occasionally. Now i have added a slice of cheese as a must to all my foods, and scoop of butter with breakfast and lunch. Now i find stomach is generally full., and body refusing to take grains (I think so).
and getting up not so lethargic as i used to be.
Menu normal ., same as i used to eat except rice qunatity is becoming smaller day by day...(Not able to eat)
a slice of cheese., and a large table spoon of butter(not those serving spoons fo curries etc)
Constipation slight.
thats all my progress. iwanted to post this in dlife too but becos i started here my journey i posted these here first.
(I am 51 yr old male.,95kg weight., 5ft 7.5 ht., sedantary job having high B.P also. ) B.P also looks like coming down . for the first time my b.p recording 139/85 range . General range is 180/90 or so :). Of course i am using ayurvedic/homeo randomly i.e as and when i feel i pop the ayur/homeo meds in., and i feel its ok to do so. thats all about me and my jouney..,
a big thanks to this forum and my friends in particular medfree., kcpl., patiputr and anup etc

((and I WANTED TO REDUCE BLOod sugar values without exercise so that that is a true normal state., for the existing situations. as somebody pointed out.90% of time body tends to be idle., so i wanted b.s to be normal in that state not artificially fo my life style to work like a horse and get normal b.s. and i find lhcf suitabale. its ok if i work like a horse in which case i will switch to moderate carb and high fat.
Moderate carb and high fat is bad. Moment you go above 150 grams carb you will have to get down your fat content to 30%. On LCHF there are no subcategories like low, moderate or high. It is just LCHF. People often make this mistake and start eating moderate carbs without lowering fat to safe zone.
So, if it is LCHF, then there's no moderate carb plan. medfree, anup are on dlife.in/ now.
A very good clue indeed. I just missed this point.thanks kcpl.
Protein will spike and spike you late so be careful with proteins. Also, it generates toxic wastes which will overload kidneys if you overdo it. Just get as near to LCHF and you will have far better numbers.
Yes kcpl. me already on the way. I never added protein on a daily basis. Also as youtold more protein will wreak havoc . so a slightly moderate input may be sufficient. i shall work on this and shall reverty in a week with results. i think i may have a tailored self tratment. so far since 2006 i never fully trusted allopathy but had to resort it at times., largely diabecon and dibonil (homeo)., madhumardhani(ayur..jain pharma) helped a lot. i became negligent and hence we are friends :).
Count your carbs and work your way up to reach 20% energy from carbs 60% min from fat and balance protein. Daal, paneer, cheese, nuts, yogurt and eggs will get you enough protein that's needed for the day.
Your glycated haemoglobin indicates that your blood sugar spikes after food. So adjustment is required in your diet.please add some protein in your diet on daily basis.
Sugar does not rise because of calories in general but because of calories coming from digestible CARBS and to a lesser extent from proteins and least extent from fats.
To fix the sugar levels, switch to LCHF diet. Reliance on drugs will slowly push you to insulin shots over a period of time and also add drugs for Lipids, BP etc.
Friends, I'm new to this forum. I'm desperately seeking help with some lhcf recipes for my husband who has been struggling for over 10 years to achieve sugar control. His hba1c is always at 11-12. He is taking insulin and Janumet.
Can someone recommend a doctor in India who prescribes LHCF diet for diabetes management?
