This days i am simply keeping myself busy with some work ( extra works ) like lifting things , walking when i can avoid just keeping my metabolism running the advantage of this you won't feel lethargic and be active while your work also be done , i used to walk 5 km daily 45 mins at evenings but then i find this more doable but then its matter for preference Morning walks supposed to be best time when you have good amount of oxygen / fresh air , duration depends how you walk but min is 30 mins make it twice morning n evening but if u keep over eating carbs then trust me exercise will not help limit your daily carb intake , keep checking BS levels and take meds on time then exercise will help or else it won't , if all be well you might not even need to take meds if u follow the LCHF it worked for me and on no meds for BS .

You must walk at least 4km in forty minutes . This can be increased as per your stamina .

Brisk walking is mandatory for diabetic patients, even if you are on so called low carbs, high fat diet. The lower body is affected generally by diabetes, even if it is in control, when you take brisk walking more oxygen to legs, feet no leg cramps, blood will freely flow in addition to burning of glucose in the body.

Basically the brisk walking is quite necessary and the sweating is needed in duration, once when it becomes a habit either in morning or evening or both times, then irrespective of timings it definitely helps in the long run not only for diabetic cure but also in general as it keeps you fit and alert.

If time permits you can walk in the morning and evening. You should have profuse or excessive sweating to burn out extra calories with you.It is healthier to walk in the morning. For an LCHF man ,he can manage with walking once in a day or sometimes without.
