Ideally, walk for 40 minutes.Maintain a little faster pace i e.100 steps a minute. You should get pleasantly tired with slightly elevated heart rate and breathing rate. You should never feel discomfort during the walk.Avoid heated discussions while walking but can do mild talking on some impersonal subjects.Soon after the walk, you should come back to absolute normalcy in about 5 to 10 minutes.Keep yourself hydrated by drinking water.Be aware constantly as to what is happening to your body. That helps in reducing stress.Investing some money on a good pair of walking shoes with good heel arch support is a must.Always use clean cotton socks.

Before starting the walk you have to warm up body by some warm up exercises and slow walk for 5 minutes. Then brisk walk as comfortable to you, that much brisk, for 30 minutes,if tired mid way you can rest for 5 minutes and start brisk walk.At end of 30 minutes walk slowly for 5 minutes for body to cool and come to normal heart beat. Then sit for 10 minutes

Walk depends on your ability, how far, how long and at what speed . Please never try to over exert yourself. Please walk at a speed at which you are most comfortable, walk only distances where you are NOT exhausted. When going for a walk please remember to keep a bottle of water and common sugar with you.

some pundits say a brisc walking about 150 mnts per week is sufficient for cordiac patients. the same may be applied for diabetic patients also. Another way is walking till the glucose levels are exhausted in fresh air early morning. however this sould be followed under medical supervision considering the other aileents.

your knees are weight bearing joints. So, if you are obase yor advised to reduce weight. If you are slim person presumably you may be haveing osteoarthritis.by either of the two ways knee jint pain be cured. 1) Better to reduc the speed of your walking and to main the necessory burning of the sugars and fats maintaining slow walking till you feel that by next round of walking you will get the knee pain or otherwise undergoing investigating from ortho and getting the treatment.

thanking you

MY DEAR ONE .

It depends on the physical condition of the subject. weight/ diet /etc etc.

if it has some knee problem or limb disorder walking is to be strictly avoided.

in normal case for non athletes more the a quarter kilo meter is harmful.

most suitable exercise for female patients is Pedros exercise course for not more then 10 minutes if she is working lady.she can exercise in bed in early morning or whenever she wakes up.

mail me your ID for a video of some effective exercises.

REMEMBER DIABETES IS 100 % CURABLE WITH PROPER HERBS INTAKE AND PUNCTUAL EXERCISE AND SOME CHANGES IN LIFE STYLE.

My prayers for the well being of all sufferers.
