Have you tried by reducing carb intake? For diabetes management reducing carbs and replacing them with protein and fat is the best solution. Your wife must be eating high carb diet. And to cover that carb intake she needs more and more drugs.
Don't change medicines without doctor's advice. Diapride is sulfonyluria drug which may cause hypoglycemia if not taken properly.
Minimize all grains as far as possible. 6 rotis per day is very high consumption considering carbs. Avoid all type of bakery products.
Add peanuts, almonds, paneer, cheese, desi ghee, virgin coconut oil, virgin olive oil, butter, sprouted moong, sprouted chana, salads to diet. And if she can eat eggs then it is very good alternative to rotis.

Are you doing self medication or a diabetologist is prescribing drugs? Please remember that drugs is domain of doctors and you should follow his advice. If you think that there is no relief then change your doctor for good.If some one says that your spouce's bs is ok,then your family is in for a big trouble.

Let Aksray decide what he wants to do.It is HIS and only his discretion .
I have no issue with what you say,but please consider the following two points:
1.You are not a diabetic in the true sense and please do not think that I am expecting you to prove anything.
2.You are young enough and not over weight enough.I feel no valid observations can be made about age and weight related matters based on your experience vis-a-vis diabetes ,CVD,IHD etc .I am not talking here about efficacy of LCHF,please note.
