Is Galvus met 50/500 harmful

I am insulin dependent diabities patient my doctor has advised to take Galvus met 50/500 is it safe drug a k sachan

Galvusmet is good to control sugar but i dont know it is harmful or not..but it is expensive medicine.

Galvus is not harmful as Iam taking since last two years. I checked with my Dr. Just have a check up with your physician also regarding this to clear your doubt.

We are (my husband and myself) taking galvusmet 50/500 for almost 7 yrs and still on. sugar is controlled fasting b.s is 123 some time comes to 90 . so doc reduced to half tab + glynaseXl 10 mg and i am doing well.

Initially I was taking glycomet 2GP twice 2 times a day ,but my blood sugar is not controlled. I am now 75 years oid. I think glimepiride and meterformine is not working in my body, can I proceed for Galvus met 50/500 once a day and what time I should take Pl. advice me. Thanks

i am taking galvasmet 50/500 after dinner and getting satisfactory results its better than sitaglipten/ metformin.
