Thanks but the sugar reports +++ in my urine and trace of albumin. If blood sugar levels drop, will it be controlled?

Mr.sidiqcis,if pp is only 140, then sugar should not come into urine. The renal threshold for sugar is 180 mg.if sugar comes into urine please verify, either of the reports.,which may be wrong. You may be suffering from renal glycosuria.

Get kidney function test done .If albumin is only a trace at the moment no problem but keep a watch on it.

No Patliputra, actually when there was sugar found in urine my blood sugar levels was 188 during fasting. Now it's 142; will it decrease the level of sugar in urine? Other tests report fine.

If the bs is 140, there will be no sugar in urine.

paliputra: yes, 140 is PP for normal people. At what ABS level does sugar surface in urine?

Actually when bs goes beyond 180mg.Body loose sugar through though urine.Till 180mg all sugar passing though kidney gets completely re absorbed in the system.

I prefer 120 at 2hrs. which gives margin for spike up to 140-145. On low carb normally spiking more than 20-30 points is rare. Consistent spike of over 150 leads to CHD. (101bloodsugar)

Transient rise in bs does not make much difference as far as urinary sugar is concerned.

Only if urine is examined during hyperglycemic phase.

All the same thank you.Oxyhyperglycemia is a new to me.

Fasting urine will not show sugar even when there is transient hyperglycemic spike,as it will get diluted greatly in the volume of urine.Overnight volume of urine is generally around 400 ml.

If I read correctly he says when he got sugar in urine examined, his fasting bs was 188 mg.

Let us ask mr.Siddiqce to clearify,if his urine contained sugar and albumin at the same TIME,when his bs was 142.

I am extremely sorry because I made a blunder. My FBS was 182. That time I got sugar in urine. Is it necessary to take allopathic medicine. What about karela. Someone told me that taking karela juice will harm the kidneys. Please provide suggestions.
