my fbs-105, ppbs-117, I am taking Amyrl-1mg and also doing jogging and playing voley ball for 1 hours, is it correct or to be changed my

medicine. and also I am taking everything in my diet, only not taking any sugar or sweets, please give me suggestion about my blood sugar

You are doing pretty well.Keep it up and never slacken your efforts.

It would be better if you try to bring it down (FBS) below 100. After sometime try to bring it down below 90. You are taking sulfonylurea drug. Over period of time you may need more dose of these drugs. Have you tried Metformin SR version. What about diet control? What is your Hba1c level?

FBS should be less than 100 mg/dL and PPBS should be less than 140 mg/dL to avoid diabetic complications in future.

Glimepiride (generic name) Amaryl (brand name) is used along with diet and exercise, and sometimes with other medications, to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and, therefore, cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood). Glimepiride lowers blood sugar by causing the pancreas to produce insulin (a natural substance that is needed to break down sugar in the body) and helping the body use insulin efficiently. This medication will only help lower blood sugar in people whose bodies produce insulin naturally.
