Madhu Malti plant- diabetes cure

Acharya Balkrishna of team Baba Ramdev and his Ayurvedic Man Friday says that Madhu Malti is used to make Vasant Kusumakar Ras which is one of the most expensive and fast acting anti diabetic medicine. Any inputs?

For information, Madhu Malti Creeper is called Honey Suckle in English and has lightly fragrant light reddish- white flowers which grow in bunches. Its a common creeper seen in many independent houses.

Vasant Kusumaker ras- 25 tablets cost about Rs. 1000/- I used it for two months under advise of Drayurved of this forum. It has helped. Since it also contains metal bhasmas one cannot take them for long as the metals have their toxicity. Acharya Balkishan is a knowldgeable man but may not reveal much as the market their own formulations. This forum is a cooperative where we all add brick to a brick. There is another product Fenfuro which is being regularly advertised on ET. I had tried Fenfuro it is also very effective in reducing the A1c level but not affordable to the common men. I had also given feed back to their marketing head for reduction in prices and got the reply that my concern has been sent to the costing dept. It seems their advertisement cost is more than the manufacturing cost.

Madhu malti or malti as is commonly known is native to north india.Peace7 has rightly said about its characteristics.But as far as name in English,it only partially correct.If you search for honey suckle ,you will find a different plant.Actually it is called Chinese honey suckle.This do have certain medicinal properties but nothing is known about its hypoglycaemic properties.The web add.provided speaks of honey suckle which is different from madhu malti or Chinese honey suckle which is found in India.

My view is why spend money on experimenting various medicines? When there is a sure way of LCHF path. One can easily follow this without any difficulty, as well save money.Also it has to be remembered that irrespective of any medicines diabetics cannot be cured , it can only be controlled.

brother, I am on LCHF diet and my BS is coming down, today morning was 135. M weight has increased by 2 kg though sugar has come down much and i feel better. Medication still there. It is 17 yrs old. I am reaching there, a wee bit slow.
