  • It seems to be an Ayurvedic tablet. In the initial days of my D, I used to grind one small bitter gourd with water and have it in the morning, but now switched on to a homeo medicine made with jamun which gives the same effect as bitter gourd minus the bitterness.

  • Hi, the article is very informative, thanx. My mother is a diabetic patient and she has been prescribed to take insulin and a diabetic tablet. She was told by a person to eat raw BITTER GOURD 100gm in the morning and 100gm in the evening. If she eats raw BITTER GOURD accordingly, should she also take insulin & tablet?
