hi rk_ramzan,

Wish, I could help you if I were in Mumbai. Yesterday, I bought it in Hyderabad. You will find it in a market where grains and pulses are sold in bulk (whole sale). Its called 'Jau Wheat'. Ask for Jau Wheat, sure you will get it.

Long wheat or popularly called jau are normally available with atta chakki or any storei which sells wheat grain. Jau is also used to Hindu rituals pooja etc. Hence any store selling puja items will normally have it too. If enable to find, email me your address, I will courier from Delhi.

U can contact any Marwadi shop who sells grains like wheat, channa, jawar bajara and jau (Jo) or may obtain it from APMC Vashi from any of the shops with name jau(Jo).

I do not believe in Long Mash Wheat therapy as some one are propagating this theory on this blog.

why not? have you tried it?

Wheat is a pure form of Carbohydrate whether it is short or long mash. Carbohydrate is worst enemy of diabetes. I follow Low Carbohygrate diets in whch I take 100 grams of Atta daily in which 4 chappaties are made. I take one chappaty in the morning with the Breakfast, two chappaties for the lunch and one chappaty for the dinner. I take enough vegetables, dal , curd and lots of salads to make it feel full. I take 5 almonds, 25 grams of Peanut , a glass of double tone milk before going to bed. I take sufficient fruits of Apple, Papita, Anar and Naspati. I avoid taking Mango, Grapes , Cheeku and Pine apple.I avoid taking Sugar & Fat in any form. Todays result of blood sugar Fasting 87 mg/dl and PP- 131 mg/dl. I keep a record of the Blood Sugar that I take with my Glucometer. I am very happy that I have been able to control my diabetes. Why should I try some thing which I do not believe in like Shooter George's long Mash Wheat theory? More so when blood sugar is with in control with low carbohydrate diet. In other words eat less wheat/chappaties that is all the carbohygrate diet tells.

You make total sense. Your diet is very well balanced. I just thought may be long wheat has some properties which may do some wonders. I know diabetes can be postponed when people are on borderline if caution is used but unfortunatley genes can't be changed. I was okay with two pills a day and now from past year or so things went out of control. Everytime it went up to the next stage was when despite of same life style, I had stressful times. Stress is number one cause for a lot of imbalances in health. Other poster has talked about chhakras and tiger eye, yellow quarts, lemon quarts, topaz, yellow calcite, yellow agate, amber stones etc. I don't think it's the stones which will do a miracle I think it's the meditation by keeping the stone on your body and lying down for half an hr conseqently helps with a lot of health issues. But I still don't understand what shootergeorge is going to get from his site, he is not charging any money and does not have any products to sell, unless I'm not aware.

Yes some times Stress also causes diabetes. I have friend who is businessman. He was so much stressed in his business that he got diabetes and he is a young guy of 45 years only . The only thing is, diabetes is controllable with Low Carbohydrate diet with other medicines ,with out taking any sugar & fat. But it is uncurable.

Hi 634shy,

1.Modern medicine says: Diabetes is PROGRESSIVE, DEGENERATIVE & INCURABLE. Hence your experience of increasing illness & medication is EXPECTED ONLY as far as the physician is concerned, NOTHING STRANGE; if there is anything strange it is ONLY FOR THE PATIENT. More over it is only the patient who suffers the problems, not the physician & hence THEY DO NOT FEEL THE PINCH OF IT.

2. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to explain some things, as a result of your words "But I still don't understand what shootergeorge is going to get from his site, he is not charging any money and does not have any products to sell, unless I'm not aware."

If you have not read this section appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel...... of my article in the Appropedia site, please read; if you have read it, please read it once again slowly & carefully - it will give you the answer. These words were written in 2009. Most of the people may not be like me, but what can I do for that; I can only be me. I consider this as a mission assigned by God Almighty.

A low carb diet will surely bring down BS levels. I am following the LCHF diet myself with good results. But what Shooter George claims is a complete cure of diabetes which the low carb diet does not claim. So what is the harm in trying long wheat? There is nothing like it if you can reverse your diabetes.

Dear suchet

It is good that your diabet is under control but what is harm if by experimenting something like LWMDR diet which. Can cure this deadly disease which has proven result as shown by Mr Shooter Jorge if not one has to take the medicines till end of once life like yours and it is well known fact that using life long medicines it definitely has adverse effects of once health

in reply togondekarbd

You can give a trial for Mr Shooter George's Theory of Long Mash Wheat. I had tried once with dalia/grains of wheat for a month but it did not work at all. Infact it raised my sugar levels and I had to cut it out. I believe, Wheat is pure form of Carbohydrate and carbohydrate is very bad for diabetes . It will not reduce your sugar levels. Therefore I am believer of cutting out carbohydrate compeletly and restrict the Carbohydrate to 100 grams daily. I strongly believe that wheat whether long or short mash can not reduce the sugar level. Therefore I will not advise you . However choice is yours?
