If you want to manage your sugar levels efficiently, you should show commitment and will power to overcome the craving for sugar. You must also be aware that craving for sugar is not due to shortage of sugar in your blood but the body cells are starved of sugar due to diabetes.Eating more sugar to satisfy your craving will only result in spiking the blood sugar level without any benefit to the body cells because sugar cannot enter the cells due to diabetes.Best course is to have better diet control and exercise more regularly.

I take 4 tea spoons of raw sugar in each cup of tea. I take it as normal as my parents and grand parents also loved more sugar and other sweet things like Gajar Halwa, Atta (wheat) halwa, Besan Barfi, Sugar Paratha & Custard (Firnee), Kheer and eating chapatti with raw sugar dissolved in hot ghee. I have adopted the same diet since childhood (I am 69 yeas old) as this will support and improve my Body's Immune system which I inherited from my parents. If you support your immune system, never play with your immune system by eating new diet, new food like pizza, chinese diet (or any other diet which your parents never tried), you will never see any doctor. So, go back to your traditional food and eat green vegetables; your diabetes or any other ailment will disappear. All doctors will be out of customers and they will have to adopt the same means of livelihood which their parents/grand used to do. I also tried new food like pizza & chinese noodles at the age between 30 to 40 yrs and developed various diseases. Then I adopted by mother's advise and went back to my traditional diet. Since then I have not seen my doctor, except for physical injuries.

If you drink tea or coffe ,take it without sugar. One can take sweets & chocolate once in as while but take extra medicine and do physical excercises like walking.yoga to burn the extra sucrose & calories that is added to your system.Self control & discipline also help.

Yes, physical exercise is compulsory for everyone There is no exemption for anyone from physical exercise. Self control, discipline and POSITIVE ATTITUDE will make you healthy. NEGITIVE ATTITUDE will keep you at the door of you doctor. And this is what every doctor wants.
