take 2 glasses of water or 1 glass warm milk before sitting on commode. inhale air deeply so that you feel it is has filledup yr lungs and exert pressure for 2 to 3 secs and exhale air thru mouth like in a ballon for 30 secs to one minute. This slowly moves inside stomoch and dont be impatient. repeat for 10 to 15 times , it will clean yr stomach

* Insulin aspart (generic name) Novolog (brand name) comes as a solution (liquid) to inject subcutaneously (under the skin). It is usually injected 5 to 10 minutes before eating a meal.

* Insulin detemir (generic name) Levemir (brand name) comes as a solution (liquid) to inject subcutaneously (under the skin). It is usually injected once a day, with the evening meal or at bedtime.Sometimes insulin detemir may be injected twice a day, in the morning before breakfast and in the evening with the evening meal or at bedtime about 12 hours later. Inject insulin detemir at around the same time(s) every day.

* Insulin glargine (generic name) Lantus (brand name) comes as a solution (liquid) to inject subcutaneously (under the skin). It is injected once a day. You should use insulin glargine at the same time every day.

* Insulin glulisine (generic name) Apidra (brand name) comes as a solution (liquid) to inject subcutaneously (under the skin). It is usually injected up to 15 minutes before a meal or within 20 minutes after starting a meal.

Be sure to follow all exercise and dietary recommendations made by your doctor or dietitian. It is important to eat a healthy diet and to eat about the same amounts of the same kinds of foods at about the same times every day. Skipping or delaying meals or changing the amount or kind of food you eat can cause problems with your blood sugar control.

Pl understand the purpose of taking insulin. It is to be taken before food so that body has enough insulin to limit your Sugar level in the Blood to less than 140 levels. Peak sugar level happens between 11/2 hours to 2 hours.
