Dear tejkumar...I can start with the introduction of medfree

About medfree

He doesn't believe in ADA recommendations at all.

Have firm belief in LOW CARB HIGH FAT (LCHF) Lifestyle because it leads to:

(1) Lower sugar levels

(2) Lower medicines (or even eliminated completely)

(3) Lower Triglycerides

(4) Lower weight due to FAT being burned

(5) Lower Trig to HDL ratio which reduces chances of Heart Attack.

(6) Lower A1C so better for heart and reduces complications. (7) Lower visits to doctors

(8) Lower Medical Bills

(9) Lower inflammation in body

(10) Lower insulin in circulation so less water retention

(11) Lower loss of magnesium due to lower insulin in circulation

(12) Lower Blood pressure and less constriction of blood vessels due to lower insulin levels in circulation.

(13) Lower HUNGER Pangs

So switch to LOW CARB HIGH FAT LIFESTYLE.

FAT Doesn't cause Heart Attack. There's no Proof.

If you still want to know in details , I will explain to you step by step.

Dear tejkumar

I am not expert to advice as Mr. medfree is ...Keep a watch on your FBS and PPBS numbers till everything is settled and if you find yourself consistently hitting in 120-140 range for PPBS , reduce your diabetic medicines. 1. Take Hot Veg Soup Non Strained with 30gms full fat milk cream or around 20gm butter ... 1 large cup measuring around 350ml and enjoy this with a 30-50 grams MIXED NUTS ( Almonds, Walnuts & Peanuts, no cashew), OR Paneer Pakodas OR Dal Chillas. 2. Take all dairy products, it should be full fat stuff (so no skimmed stuff), full fat milk curd which is > 1 day old, butter, cheese, clarified butter . 3. No biscuits, cracker, wafers , potatoes chips etc. Being vegetarian it limits your options. 4. If you are not a thyroid patient then add supplement: ALPHA LIPOIC ACID 300mg Capsule OID. (once a day). 5. Add paneer to your menu, and also eggs if you can afford to take, since scientifically eggs are supposed to be a vegetarian diet.6. Restrict to just one chapati/meal. 7. Fruits -- apple and citrus fruits. No JUICES at all. 8. Restrict on carrot, peas and beans, cabbage, cauliflower, shimla mirch and other vegetable having low glycemic index. No potato or potato products at all. 9. DRINK LOTS OF GREEN TEA. IT’S A GOOD DIURETICS. 10. Take vegetarian preparations with salads and of course nice quantity of Chutney made from Coconut and daal etc ... 100gms chutney can be great filler and coconut is source of FAT. Try masala dosa with mashed cauliflower and other vegetables, with peanuts to the masala which adds again good quantity of fat ... mashed cauliflower is a great substitute for potato as far as taste is concerned. 11. Take 100ml milk boiled with turmeric and pepper in morning and the same at night . 12. Every bit of movement and calorie burning counts ... minimum walking for15 minutes after every meal within the house is ok. Never use LIFT. 16. ONE VEGETARIAN DISH : Green Salad comprising 1 pc each of onion, carrot, cucumber, simla mirchi, 1 cup of cabbage. All are cut to small pcs, mix lot of curds to it, also add 2-3 spoons of olive oil. Add 1 cup of cream. In addition as a side plate , have 2 boiled eggs or 1/2 cup of paneer. If required eat any vegetable. 13. try adding sesame seeds to salad and take nuts upto 100gms.day, take stuff made from coconut. . 14. If required eat any vegetable made at home except Potato.

I am one of the beneficiaries of Mr. Medfree's advise of switching over to LCHF diet and results within one months are amazing. Once i had sent him my list of daily diet chart and excercise routine, in which he suggested few modifications, which were very beneficial. His advise of Walk after 40 minutes of Dinner rather than before dinner (Which i used to follow earlier) was very useful.

Thanks to Mr. Medfree once again, We miss u here in this forum.

Sir, what was your lipid profile. High fat diet may be a big risk with high LDL, Cholesterol, triglycerides etc.

I perceive Bajra roti to have both low glycemic index and load. Has anyone verified the numbers in context of calorific value? efar52@gmail.com
