DIABLISS SUGAR: "DIABLISS" recently... - Diabetes India
DIABLISS SUGAR
What is carbohydrate content and what is the glycemic value? What is the herb used in this formulation?
Dear Ventataramana, GI of DiaBliss Sugar is 44.4 - around 30% lower than the GI of normal cane sugar. Another brand of sugar called 'Low GI Cane' has a GI value of 50... this makes DiaBliss world's only low GI sugar.
DiaBliss is 99% cane sugar and 1% herbal extract of fenugreek, cinnamon, ginger, pomegranate, turmeric, black pepper, and gooseberry.
That is really great. Without more scientific reports and formulas no body will go for it except fools and desperate people. Give more details to the public, please!
Dear Ramchandran, you can visit the website - diabliss.com to know about the toxicity study results, which has been published in the International Journal of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (IJCPS). You can also check the tests, and results where many diabetics have reported lowered/ controlled blood sugar levels, lowered HbA1c levels. There are clinical trial reports also. Many diabetics have experienced reduced dependence on medications. That said, DiaBliss is not a medication.
Thanks,
Siva V., COO, DiaBliss Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd.
Certain herbs possess properties of inhibiting carbohydrates. However, one needs to be mindful while using any kind of sugar which contains loads of empty calories. So one should always give a try..but carefully.
Any such brands introduced are invariably with the mention that it is dia-friendly, it is no-doubt a marketing trend. Normally, any artificial or alternate sugar contains certain chemicals, which is may be on long run causes health hazardous.
If any body is really a health conscious, why should fall Frey to these kind of things and at the cost of life / heath. Say a goodbye to sugar and alternate sugar products.
