Diet for diabetic essentially means developing awareness as to what you eat,how much and when.Eat smaller meals but more number of times.Keep regular timings.Reduce intake of foods rich in carbohydrates like rice and wheat to the possible extent.Avoid sugar, sweets and other sweetened substances like coke and pepsi. Root vegetables like potato, beet, sweet potato etc to be avoided to possible extent Eat more vegetables, greens, nuts, dairy products and sprouts.Eat moderately but a balanced diet. The calories you consume as food every day must be spent on daily basis through physical activity and exercise for at least 40 to 60 min. That means it ls like running a Bank account with NIL balance.Calories should not be allowed to accumulate.

Yes that's true. It is not advisable playing with your body because maintaining it avoids doctor & hospital. It also avoids painful diseases caused due to diabetes. The example of Bank Account is wrong because our body is not something to be deposited or accounted, it's the wonderful thing that GOD has given us so one should take care of it.
