Has anyone had any success with TMJ? or... - Cure Parkinson's
Has anyone had any success with TMJ? or has anyone heard of an Electrostimulation machine called Vecttor?( Dr. Rhodes )
Does it go in you shoe and give a slight shock when you lift your heel?
The Electrostimulation machine is a types of TENS unit but uses lower electrical shock that are placed at acupuncture points on the hands or feet. The machine is called the "Vecttor" by Dr. Rhodes .
The TMJ Is an appliance is placed in your mouth that is like a retainer. This is done by a dentist by the name Dr. Stacks.
has anyone seen the youtube vids about tmj - they are amazing ...
Drevy,
I tried the Tens machine and it really didn't seem to do much for me. I watched the youtube video and contacted the doctor that is responsible for the mouth piece. He is in California, which is too far from where I live. He gave me the name of a dentist that was closer to where I live that was making the mouth piece too. I'll try and find his email address if you.d like it. It looked promising and I plan on trying it.

I would appreciate it. Thanks
Drewy,
His name is Dr Gary Demerjam. He woks at The Center for TMJ and Sleep
Disorders in California. His email address is drdemerjam@hoc. I just wrote him and told him my past medical history, and he referred me to a dentist near me. There's a video on him working with Parkinson's patients on you tube. Let me know how it turns out if you decide to try it.

We have a TMJ/D Specialist in Buffalo NY. I went there for my problem several years ago. I had to eat a very soft diet, wear the mouth orthotic day and night for several weeks and do special exercises. Also had to apply heat to my jaw several times a day. It definitely helped and I don't wear the orthotic anymore and I haven't had pain in a long time.
I have been wearing an appliance for 38 days and getting results. My dentist just visited Dr. Stack in Virginia and will be taking more classes this fall. My result so far are less tremors in my right hand; sleeping better; less pain in my right leg, less dizziness and more energy. I've had PD for 6 years the last year been having pain in my right leg, not in the muscle or joint; when the bite is off, the brain knows it and can cause muscles to tighten up.
How did you find your Dentist.? I'm having a hard time finding a dentist that does this procedure. Also was it expensive? How did you find your dentist?
