Has anyone else found that Tanganil acetyl-Dl-leucine causes you extreme anxiety for at least the first hour after you take it?

... And while I am at it, I should ask whether anyone here has felt that Tanganil has improved their symptoms, apart from Ghoegap's husband. Thank you.

I take it but do not get anxiety. I take it along with several other supplements that seem to have delayed progression for 1.5 years now

Has Tanganil reduced your PD symptoms? How much do you take each day?

I take 2 x 500 mg. This is the dose that was used in the article where two patients had their DAT scans objectively improved

Do you have a link to this study? The studies I have read indicated the daily dose administered was 5g/day.

"For this case report, we administered the already investigated total oral daily dosage of 5 g/day."

I have not experienced any anxiety with Tanganil. How much do you take at a time? I take 1 gram=2 tablets 4 times a day for a total of 4 gram per day.

I have not experienced any anxiety with Tanganil. I have noticed that I have a little more energy, since taking Tanganil (1 tablet twice a day). It's about a month since I started Tanganil.

Do you take any antidepressants/benzodiazepines/antipsychotics or have you stopped them/reduced their doses recently? This could cause anxiety for sure, due to tolerance, dependence or withdrawal.

I also did not observe such a thing.

Taking 5mg a day now for a few months, I noticed some small improvements.

Rather the opposite. Since taking Tanganil, I no longer have REM sleep problems or panic attacks. My anxiety disorder has decreased significantly. Perhaps it is due to another factor in your case - I have found that if I take too much vitamin B1, my anxiety increases again. Maybe her body needs to get used to Tanganil? In the German study, I think the test subjects increased the dose slowly at the beginning?
